The Standard Missile 3 (SM-3) Business Office is seeking a motivated financial analyst looking to expand their skills within the development projects on SM-3. This subset of the program is primarily focused on design and qualification of new components as well as software development.
This role offers a unique blend of strategic forecasting, cost management, and proactive risk mitigation, as you'll work closely with supply chain, program management and other functional finance roles. You'll also be responsible for developing Estimates at Complete (EACs), Earned Value, tracking material costs, and forecasting to drive performance. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to make an impact on program readiness and material availability.
What You Will Do
- Prepare weekly and monthly program reports.
- Perform Adhoc Analysis.
- Tool implementation with process improvement focus.
- Quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) / monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) development, CDRL preparation, variance analysis.
- Data analysis and Variance development.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel (i.e. pivot tables, advanced formulas), Word, & PowerPoint.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. .
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Ability to effectively work in a challenging and fast paced environment while multi-tasking.
- Experience in using ERP Systems ex. SAP Business Systems (PRISM, SAP, AO reporting).
- Analytical Thinking.
- Good communication skills.
- Team player contributing new ideas.
