Visual Design Lead

<h3>Your mission</h3> <p>As Odds Scanner's Visual Design Lead, you'll play a key role in shaping our brands and elevating our visual communication impact across all platforms. You'll bring exceptional creative thought and craft output, developing projects from brief to end user, delivering work that is distinctive, effective and truly remarkable. You will lead and inspire a growing design team of two visual designers to evolve and excel in each project.</p> <h3>Responsibilities</h3> <ul><li>Develop strong conceptual visual design work with clear rationale.</li><li>Drive the creative translation of content and communication strategies to deliver impactful work.</li><li>Create original, persuasive, conceptually compelling visual work for campaigns and content for multi-platforms.</li><li>Lead and inspire the design team, by reviewing their work and providing constructive, actionable feedback that improves overall output, and enables high-quality work.</li><li>Help nurture and develop talent, encourage a collaborative environment as well as helping to manage resources, workloads and timelines.</li><li>Stay current with design trends and best practices, proactively implementing improvements in the team's design process.</li></ul> <h3>Requirements</h3> <ul><li>Extensive knowledge of branding, visual design, art direction, and digital design.</li><li>Proven ability to lead hands-on with exceptional execution skills.</li><li>Capability to elevate design briefs to the next level.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to pixel-perfect design.</li><li>Ability to innovate by establishing new design concepts and effectively guiding the design team.</li><li>Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously.</li><li>Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate ideas and concepts.</li><li>Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral, with the ability to articulate design decisions and their rationale.</li><li>A strong portfolio of selected work available online (only online portfolios will be considered for evaluation).</li></ul> <h3>Benefits</h3> <ul><li>40 days of holidays of your choosing (take only the bank holidays you want!);</li><li>Flexible working hours;</li><li>Competitive salary based on experience with great opportunities to grow;</li><li>Work from home (WFH) allowance, to cover WFH costs;</li><li>Other benefits and allowances such as Gym, Private Health Insurance and Education;</li><li>Clear short to medium-term objectives that will lead to a clear career path.</li></ul>
