Based in Utrecht, the Netherlands and reporting to the Finance Director, this is a great opportunity to be-come part of a dynamic and professional team of Finance Business Partners. You’ll join an entrepreneurial group of people on a serious growth mission to keep expanding our business. We strive each day to reach even higher and do even better. Your main priority will be to become a trusted partner and advisor for both the Finance Director and the Head of Sales, where you will play a crucial role in driving and supporting the growth and profitability agenda within our Dutch business.

 

Furthermore, you will have a broad set of responsibilities within Commercial Finance:

• Take ownership of driving and supporting the pricing and profitability strategies within the Dutch business, fostering strong collaboration with various stakeholders and actively participating as a member of the Sales Leadership Team;
• Work closely in developing pricing proposals and liaising with different Customer Groups to ensure the viability of the proposals and business cases;
• Play a crucial role in the rolling budgeting, forecasting and month-end activities, contributing to effective financial planning and reporting;
• Deliver timely and insightful financial analysis to drive informed decision-making and propel the business towards its goals;
• Provide valuable support during the annual negotiation process and efficiently handle tender requests, ensuring optimal outcomes for the organization;
• Drive the efficiency and digitalization agenda focusing on programs to optimize revenue;
• Support the annual audit process, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial procedures.

 

Your profile

The key to success in this position is your proactive mindset, and your ability to build relationships across functions by using your excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Thus, we imagine that you:

• Are a qualified senior finance person with strong business acumen from a commercial finance environment;
• Have 6-8 years relevant experience, ideally in a FMCG business environment;
• Are commercially astute, able to build and develop relationships with a variety of stakeholders and deliver complex financial information to non-finance personnel in a structured manner;
• Know your numbers and understands the need for always staying on top of development in prices and profitability;
