Platform R&D Senior Software Engineer

Software Engineers research, architect, design, develop, and test software for our products, services, systems and tools. They define, create, integrate, verify and modify SW/system components and utilize innovative solutions to meet customer requirements and specifications. In this software platform position you will write software to support the application code as it interfaces with the operating system and lower layers. We need to support application software that runs on custom hardware, VM with a custom OS, and containers in a linux OS.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Product Managers and other R&D teams to determine feasible solutions
- Develop code in C/C++
- Unit test code
- Work on NIC drivers
- Work with customer support teams on field issues
- Support application code running in VM, HW, and K8 environments
- Support application code running in Linux and Vxworks
- Study and learn new areas and explain to others
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of IP/TCP/UDP networking
- C/C++
