What We Need: We are looking for a Project Manager - Agile Delivery - to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings team. This is an on-site role located in Muscatine, IA. The role is not currently eligible for sponsorship. The Project Manager - Agile Delivery is accountable for the effectiveness of one agile project team, ensuring continuous improvement and delivery of high-value product increments. The role fosters and environment of collaboration, agility, and executional excellence while championing agile project and product delivery. What You Will Do:
- Ensure the team is effective and continuously improving, leveraging agile principles for high-quality, predictable delivery.
- Support flow metrics tracking (cycle time, throughput, work in progress, predictability) to provide transparency and data-driven decision-making.
- Identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress, escalating when necessary.
- Encourage backlog alignment with strategic priorities, partnering with the product owner.
- Assist in coordinating dependencies with other teams and stakeholders.
- Promote collaboration, trust, and self-organization within the team.
- Facilitate agile events, ensuring they are effective, and outcome driven.
- Participate in agile coaching efforts, reinforcing agile principles across the organization.
- Support continuous improvement through experimentation and feedback loops.
- Participate in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master 1 (PSM 1) certification preferred.
- Ability to obtain Professional Scrum Master 1 (PSM1) certification within 90 days of start date is required.
- Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) 1 certification is preferred.
- Ability to obtain Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) 1 certification within 90 days of start date is required.
- At least 1 year of experience as an Agile Delivery Lead, Scrum Master or related field/skill; 4 years of experience preferred.
