Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must be a high school graduate, or equivalent; and be able to provide proof (i.e., diploma or equivalent) for verification. Must possess maturity and good judgement and like working with children/youth and their parents. SPECIALIZED REQUIREMENTS: One year at the CY02 level or equivalent. Must have completed an Associate of Art degree in early childhood education, youth development, or related fields or have a Child Development Associate Credential or a Youth Development Credential. (Must remain current).
