Sentara Careplex Hospital is seeking a Team Lead for Echocardiography

Full Time

Job Summary

Performs cardiac echocardiography of the heart and associated structures using routine and advanced technical skills. Participate in the professional development of staff and students. Assist Cardiology Director with daily operations, coordination of work, achievement of department goals and objectives. Serve as technical resource for other department personnel.

Knowledge of Echocardiography equipment. Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) required.

Qualifications:

HS - High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)

Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) - Certifications - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) - Certifications - Inteleos Inc American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
