Staff Research Engineer (REQ #R273) position available with Pindrop Security, Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia.
Responsibilities: Research Machine Learning algorithms for audio processing applications. Design and develop backend Audio signal processing modules such as speech enhancement and voice biometrics. Develop frontend applications for audio processing tools. Write technical white papers and present them to internal and external parties. Design, develop and deploy new proprietary software technologies and product lines to enhance Pindrop’s ability to detect phone fraud using big data and audio science. Research machine learning algorithms to investigate customer data with the end goal of fraud detection. Handle large amount of call audio data and architect and implement large-scale systems. Efficiently interact with software systems/APIs.
The position requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Audio Signal Processing, Music Technology, or a related field.
The position also requires two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a research engineering-related occupation.
Professional experience must include: Research and engineering experience in audio signal processing; Backend Software Engineering; Frontend Software Engineering; Object-oriented software design and analysis; Hosted infrastructure and telephony devices; DSP, machine learning, and Linux. * May work remotely from home office.
