About the role
Commercial solutions team is critical to partnering with the growing Sales team to support end-to-end deal process from quoting to signatures. The team partners with the Commercial Legal, Pricing, Accounting, and other functions within the company to upleveling efficiency of the overall revenue organization while delivering best in class service to the Sales team and supporting Cloudflare’s strategic priorities. We're looking for an experienced GTM Operations Leader to scale Cloudflare's next phase of growth beyond $1B in revenue. This leader will augment our existing deal motion by challenging assumptions, streamlining processes, and upleveling operational effectiveness as we embark on the next phase in our journey.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of professionals who serve as the main point of contact for Sales throughout the deal process
- Own and set a vision for improving efficiency by streamlining processes, identifying areas for improvement, and upleveling collaboration with the cross functional teams and Sales
- Utilize qualitative and quantitative data to guide decision-making for identifying largest impact opportunities for improvement and internal capacity planning
- Identify and lead strategic initiatives to optimize the deal process. Create, secure buy in, document, and operationalize scalable processes
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Accounting, and IT to seamlessly transition to new quoting and billing systems
- Lead, inspire, and develop a team of empowered Commercial Solutions strategists by investing in their career development and coaching
Required Skills/Experience:
- 12+ years of relevant experience in one or more areas such as Sales Operations, Finance, Deal Desk, management consulting
- 3+ years in deal desk or pricing related functions
- Proven people leader, with 5+ years of people management, including leading teams with multiple levels of management
- Ability to fully understand sales and deal-related processes, policies, and tooling to improve productivity and drive growth
- Extensive change management experience to drive and implement new processes and business initiatives
- Strong Executive presence and ability to influence and work cross functionally
- Established history of driving multiple complex projects at the same time to on-time completion in a fast-moving environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong quantitative skills and high data fluency
- Experience working with Salesforce tooling ecosystem
Compensation
Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.
- For Colorado-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $257,000 - $315,000.
- For New York City-based and California (excluding Bay Area) and Washington D.C. hires: Estimated annual salary of $290,000 - $354,000.
- For Bay Area-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $305,000 - $373,000
