Responsibilities
- Train and Supervisor maintenance staff
- Implements preventative maintenance and oversees team strategy
- Responds to unplanned breakdowns or system failures
- Ensures reliable functioning of all plant systems including, utilities, phone, security, and IT
- Maintains grounds including landscaping and parking lot
- Reviewing and managing worker performance. Setting performance standards
- Coordinating with other functions for completion of necessary work
- Point of contact with contractors and inspectors. Ensures that contractors are aware of and following all safety requirements
- Communication of results
- Participates on project teams and would be involved in layout, equipment selection, cost estimates, etc.
- Regularly monitors conditions in plant and makes necessary corrections and repairs
- Motivates and develops staff. Promotes teamwork and demonstrates continuous improvement
- General Facility responsibilities including but not limited to Hazardous Waste Removal
- Other duties as assigned
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical preferred), or equivalent demonstrated capability based on experience
- 5 years in facilities/maintenance supervisory position; Industrial Environment preferred
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance experience and ability to demonstrate through direct work
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance practices; Ex: Vibration Analysis, Ultrasonic Thermography, Laser Alignment, etc.
- Demonstrated experienced of CAPEX Implementation
- Proficient in utilization of Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Exc
