Description
Sullivan Tire, a leading tire and automotive service company, has been family operated for more than 67 years with over 1,200 employees and currently has an opportunity for a Fleet & Safety Operations Associate. The Fleet and Safety Operations Associate is responsible for handling the daily administrative function for company fleet operations as well as powered industrial truck equipment.
Responsibility
- Oversee and maintain the administration of the Vehicle Database to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
- Record and update vehicle registrations
- Responsible for EZ Pass and Telematics Administration
- Assign and verify fuel cards.
- Conduct weekly audits to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Oversee payment administration of fleet and safety purchasing function.
- Serve as primary point of contact for vendors and foster strong working relationships with them.
- Create and maintain purchasing files and records ensuring vehicle upload is complete.
- Audit, verify, and approve vendor invoices for payment.
- Handle warranty and recall follow up.
- Generate reports to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Enter all safety events into the CRM accurately and in a timely manner.
- Analyze claims and safety events and provide reporting to management.
- Create, generate, and maintain effective reporting for key metrics based on audits and claims trends driving organizational effectiveness.
- Maintain department KPI’s to be presented monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Develop and generate ad hoc reports to provide management with timely and accurate data.
- Assist with Fleet, Safety & Security projects and initiatives.
Requirements
Education/Experience
- Associates degree preferred
- Solid technical ability and high comfort level using Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel, web-based programs, and e-mail.
Skills/Knowledge
- Basic understanding of DOT regulations
- Willingness to learn through others as well as independent research.
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Works well under minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, decision-making, and analytical skills
- Takes pride in their work and has a desire to maintain accuracy and consistency by applying excellent attention to detail.
