Hotel IT Partner Manager, NORAM and LATAM

Summary of the role:

The Hotel IT Partner Manager for NORAM and LATAM will acquire, manage and develop a portfolio of strategic alliances and/or partner relationships that complement and supplement the Amadeus Hotel IT solutions in those regions. This role will be directly responsible for defining and executing the Hotel IT partner strategy and commercial model in NORAM and LATAM with alignment from key stakeholders including product, commercial, strategy and legal teams.

In this role you’ll:

The Partner Manager will report to the Global Head of Hotel IT Partners. This position will own all aspects of building and managing the commercial relationship with the 3rd party in support of Amadeus Hotel IT product lines including Sales & Catering, Service Optimization, Central Reservation Systems and Guest Management. Most partnerships will focus heavily on integrations with the Amadeus platform and servicing but could also include reseller/referral arrangements as well as the outsourcing of operational services.

About the ideal candidate:

  • Define and execute partner growth strategy in NORAM and LATAM for the Hotel IT product lines. This includes:
    • Aligning partnership strategy and objectives with key stakeholders (Product, Commercial, Legal, Marketing).
    • Developing partner account and partner business plans according to partner segmentation and ensuring key partner relationships are well sustained and a joint strategy is executed.
    • Assessing and prioritizing partnership opportunities based on overall strategic alignment, business opportunity and risk assessment. This includes identification of new emerging and/or disruptive Hotel IT partnerships.
    • Actively managing new and existing Hotel IT partners while creating new partnership opportunities (partner onboarding, commercial negotiations, contracting, Go-to-market alignment, events/co-marketing activities and management of partner related escalations).
    • Managing a project pipeline of qualified Partner opportunities.
    • Managing the strategic aspects of projects with partner. Anticipating and mitigating partner risks (legal, business).
    • Drive partner revenue growth programs: Resellers, Referral and Marketplace model. Contribute to the growth of partner revenue by ensuring successful execution of reseller and referral programs, onboarding of new partners and implementation of monetization strategies.
    • Create high level engagement and alignment with key internal stakeholders (Product, Connectivity, Commercial, Legal, Marketing) providing regular updates and becoming principal Point of Contact in your assigned regions for any partner related matter.
    • Provide input and guidelines to sales and marketing communication (functional and value focus) and follow-up to ensure the partner benefits are correctly communicated.
    • Liaise with Legal to identify the legal/contractual framework for the Partnership and anticipate any possible legal problems and business risks.
    • Ensure process alignment and improvement across the partner organization and collaboration with other teams.
    • Maintain Partner database including historical, current and potential Partners with associated capacity and competency potential for each.
    • Attend required industry related trade shows and partner events.

Education                                                                                                  

  • BA/BS degree required, Master’s degree preferred                                                                          

                                                                                                        

Relevant work experience                                                                                              

  • 7+ years of Hospitality experience or technology experience
  • 3+ years of partner or customer relationship management experience
  • 1+ years of program management experience
