Senior Product Designer

<p><strong>We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer to join our Technology Team.</strong></p> <p>As a Senior Product Designer, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire design process, from conceptualisation to implementation and maintenance of fleet management systems. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including the Product team, design team, data analysts, developers, and stakeholders, to gather requirements to design intuitive user interfaces, and ensure a seamless user experience.</p> <p>Lead the design process, including conducting or reviewing user research, creating wire frames, and developing interactive prototypes for reporting systems.</p> <ul> <li>Manage and monitor projects to ensure deadlines are met and work is high quality. </li> <li>Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into functional design specifications and process designs.</li> <li>Collaborate with the design manager to establish design strategies, backed by research findings and business requirements.</li> <li>Maintain a user-centred approach while respecting business needs.</li> <li>Ensure a consistent and visually appealing design language across all reporting systems. (Design System)</li> <li>Conduct/manage usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate and improve the design of reporting interfaces.</li> <li>Provide guidance and mentorship to junior &amp; mid-level designers within the team.</li> <li>Collaborate with developers to ensure the successful implementation of designs and resolve any design-related issues during development/post development. </li> <li>Mentor and guide team members, helping them develop and grow.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We’re Looking For:</strong></p> <ul> <li>7+ years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your design skills.</li> <li>Excellent communication, presentation, workshops and collaboration skills.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of research and design tools such as Mural, Figma, InVision, Dovetail, Survey Monkey, Google Forms. </li> <li>Experience leading design projects and mentoring junior designers.</li> <li>A passion for solving complex design problems and creating user-centred experiences.</li> <li>Experience using quantitative and qualitative research to inform design iteration.</li> <li>Skilled at prototyping and quick thinking.</li> <li>Excellent design and communications capabilities.</li> </ul>
