1st Shift Schedule:
• This position is for 1st shift.
• Monday – Friday 7:00AM – 3:30PM
• Overtime available on a business need basis.
What You Will Do:
• You will interpret blueprints, work orders, engineering plans, specifications, reference planes, designs sketches and geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) for operation, material, and dimensional requirements.
• You will assemble, repair, and fabricate metal parts into sub-units or complete units using operating mechanical equipment.
• You will take measurements of material and select appropriate machines for the process.
• You will perform machining setups and make adjustments as required.
• You will conduct inspections of work produced.
• You will check SPC charts for frequency of checks, gauging and measurements.
• You will keep records and maintain quality/safety standards.
• You will work under general supervision. You will normally receive little instruction on daily work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments.
• You will apply intermediate skills to complete a wide range of tasks.
• Your tasks are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving problems or in making recommendations. Solves basic problems.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a high school diploma with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 4 years of relevant experience is typically required.
