Animation Lead

We are looking for a talented ​Animation Lead with enthusiasm to join our great team on the exciting new project, Animated Feature TAD 4!!
​You will work closely with the Animation Supervisor, you will be leading a team of senior, mid and junior animators.

First of all, you're probably interested in knowing that...we offer 100% remote work!

• Responsible for ensuring the Animators animate characters and props according to the Director instructions and style of the project.
• Develop high-quality animations that reveal attitude, express a wide range of emotions, personality and mood through a character’s movement.
• Ensure the team creates stylized and fascinating animations for assigned characters and props with clear and readable poses, timing and weight.
• Ensure animations meet technical and creative requirements and an efficient production pipeline.
• Ensuring that the animation is completed and delivered on time, to the agreed quality standards.
• Globally responsible for quality control across the Animators.
• Work closely with the Department Managers to optimize team schedules and scene assignments to achieve master scheduled deliverable.
• Continue to work as the film goes into production to ensure animated scenes remain on design.
• Deep knowledge on how animation affects the animation pipeline.
• Ability to work autonomously and independently in a fully remote environment, with that comes the supreme individual responsibility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and maintain your own initiative.
• Great team player, create a collaborative and welcoming environment.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workload and within budgets, adhere to the production schedule and deliver completed assignments on time.
• Align with the style, sensibility of the project and the Director vision.
• Mentoring and leading junior animators.

WE WILL MAKE THE PERFECT MATCH IF YOU HAVE:

• You have significant experience in production environment as Lead Animator on Animated Feature.
• Extensive experience using Maya.
• Positive attitude with continuous feedback from director, supervisor, leads and change animations to better suit project needs.
• Solid understanding of animation pipeline.
• Rigging knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to take feedback constructively and implement it effectively, to reach the quality desired.
• Anticipation and quick reaction for problem solving.
• Demonstrate great autonomy and proactivity in your work.
• Great attention to detail.
• Outstanding interpersonal and collaborative skills.
