The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $110,000-$165,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
This is What You Will do in This Role:
- Develops, designs, and plans layouts for equipment and machines, as well as workflows and safety measures, to optimize the use of plant and manufacturing facilities.
- Ensures adherence to established industry safety and design standards and guidelines. Assesses worker productivity and suggests enhancements to boost manpower efficiency and operational performance, minimize waste and delays, and support cost control and reduction.
- Creates metrics to gauge the output capacity of plant and equipment and identifies bottlenecks in equipment and process flow.
- Implements measures to prevent accidents and organizes training programs for staff on all aspects of production operations.
- Engages in the planning, design, and construction of manufacturing facilities and related structures. Determines facility specifications, including the analysis and evaluation of location, material resources, and structural design.
- Addresses technical issues and proposes improvements to production processes.
- Work closely with manufacturing sites to determine level of LEAN maturity and help develop a plan to meet the objective.
- Provide LSS mentorship to manufacturing sites management team(s)
- Apply LEAN principles to current manufacturing processes to improve quality, and efficiency.
What We are Looking For:
- B.S. Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Process, Industrial, Electrical).
- Proven experience within field of Engineering.
- Analytical Thinker.
- Ability to project manage.
- Lean Six Sigma Experience (Black Belt Certified a plus, but not required).
- Ability to work within a team environment.
- Can collaborate with other team members for exercises such as root cause analysis.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of time to global manufacturing facilities.
