What we want
Join the Texas A&M College of Pharmacy as an Admissions Coordinator I in the Office of Student Affairs! In this role, you will assist the Associate Dean for Student Affairs and their administrative staff in all aspects of the office including pharmacy admissions; counseling and advising prospective, professional pharmacy, and transfer students. You will also assist with the planning, development, and implementation of recruitment activities for the Office of Student Affairs. The successful applicant will bring an expert level of experience to the position and understand the demands of supporting executives in a fast-paced environment.
What you need to know
Salary: Starting at $45,000 annually.
Location/Travel: Located in Kingsville, Texas, this position may include occasional evenings, weekends and overnight travel.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Three years of advising, recruiting or related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in education or counseling or a related field
Three years academic advising/counseling and/or working in an admissions environment at the college/university level
Knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel) and Student Information Systems (Banner or Compass)
Excellent organizational & management skills
Skills in working with various student populations
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to develop and deliver career promotional and program recruitment presentations
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications
Knowledge of functions of higher education
Knowledge of recruitment and marketing
Strong verbal and written communication skills
