Position Summary

Primary responsibility of this position is clerical accounting support in Accounts Payable, including reconciliation of invoices for payment, matching invoices to purchase orders, maintaining records for disbursements, preparing manual checks as required, and data entry

into hospital payment processing system.

Statement of Accountability

Reports to: Accounts Payable Manager

Qualifications

1.         High School graduate with bookkeeping and business application software proficiency required. Additional education/classes in business and computer technology preferred.

2.        Three to five years recent (within the last two years) experience in all phases of computer-based Accounts Payable (NP) processing in a high volume environment. Two years of NP experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. Experience with McKesson Financial Management and McKesson Supply Chain Management software is a plus.

3.      Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Windows system and Microsoft Office applications Microsoft Word and Excel required. ( All applicants may be tested for proficiency)

4.      Proficiency with 10-key calculator required.

5.      Typing - 30 WPM required.
