About the role

Job Summary:

The Operations Associate works as an entry-level production position. Will work on assigned projects with limited or no supervision while performing general manual labor tasks/housekeeping of production areas, operation of material handling equipment, and operations of mobile equipment ensuring the work is effective and performed in accordance with all relevant codes and safety standards. 

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • General labor and clean-up of production areas
  • Observe, monitor and report any conditions which could lead to product nonconformity.
  • Operate heavy equipment/machinery in a safe and appropriate manner.
  • Clean, inspect, and maintain/secure all equipment in compliance with MSHA, policies, and procedures.
  • Replace or assist other workers as needed or directed.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Be willing and able to work 12 hours shifts, overtime along with rotating shifts.
  • Communicate effectively in both verbal and written form; perform basic math functions.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Perform physical labor safely in noisy, dusty, and other harsh working conditions.
