What You Will Do:
- You will support the development of highly integrated systems using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and tools. Support MBSE process improvement activities.
- You will support development of system requirements and models.
- You will support requirements validation and implementation verification.
- You will assist in performing analyses using physics-based models.
- You will contribute to our work by participate in hands-on system lab integration, verification, and troubleshooting.
What You Will Learn:
- You will learn application of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) processes and methods to solve complex problems.
- You will learn logical and systematic conversion of system requirements into system design solutions that meet technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- You will learn to the use of physics-based models to support requirements development, assessment of system performance, and root-cause investigations.
- You will learn to use practical application of systems engineering processes such as planning, system development, requirements validation, implementation verification, configuration management, process assurance, etc.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience creating SysML models using tools such as Cameo and/or Rhapsody.
- Experience modeling control systems using MATLAB/Simulink.
- Experience scripting in Python.
- Completed college-level courses in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, thermodynamics, control of dynamic systems, and/or model-based systems engineering.
