AHA’s Patient Service Center in Ormond Beach, FL has an exciting opportunity for reliable and dedicated Phlebotomist! This position offers a limited level of freedom and flexibility that is very different from a hospital or clinical environment. 

 

Job Responsibilities

· Drawing blood from patients following venipuncture protocols

· Completing pertinent paperwork

· Preparing tube labels correctly and legibly

· Submitting accurate payroll time sheets to supervisor

· Providing exceptional customer service


Requirements

· 2 years of phlebotomy work experience, required.

· Clean criminal history as required for positions with direct patient care; FL Level 2 background required.

· Outpatient medical setting experience required; familiar with ICD-10 codes.

· Computer skills required; must be able to operate a practice management system (e.g., use Window operating system, conduct Internet searches, communicate by email, etc.).

· Valid state-issued Driver License; clean driving record for last 5 years.

· Required auto insurance coverage (100/300/100), in employee's name.

· Must possess a passion for SAFETY and CUSTOMER SERVICE.
