The Team
The Growth team at Imprint is responsible for relentlessly driving the growth of our business, from setting go-to-market strategy, to launching and running our merchant partners’ programs successfully, and scaling their growth through new cardholder acquisition and existing cardholder engagement. We span business development, marketing, partner success, brand and product, and work cross-functionally with the leadership team to be the voice and advocate for our partners.
The Job
As the Head of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing marketing strategies for our co-branded credit card programs.This role is instrumental in achieving our company's ambitious growth goals, ensuring the appropriate planning and budget allocation to drive profitable account growth, while increasing spend and balance growth on existing accounts. The ideal candidate is analytical, data-driven, and capable of coordinating planning for multiple marketing programs on an annual and quarterly basis. This leader will report directly to the Chief Growth Officer and will establish the standards by which we analyze, test, and optimize our marketing efforts across our portfolio. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with our internal teams and with our external brand partners to execute on innovative and value-driving marketing campaigns that distinguish Imprint’s programs as top performing across all growth KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Growth: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive the acquisition of new credit card accounts through our brand partners owned channels, as well as paid channels that align with company growth targets
- Engagement and Spend Growth: Implement strategies to increase existing cardholder LTV by driving spend and balance growth through segmented and personalized marketing campaigns
- Budget Management: Efficiently allocate and manage marketing budgets, optimizing return on investment (ROI) across various marketing channels
- Data-Driven, Test and Learn Approach: Utilize robust data analytics and testing frameworks to inform decision making and enhance marketing and offer strategies
- Strategic Planning: Coordinate the planning, execution, and evaluation of multiple marketing programs with Program Managers and Brand Partners on an annual and quarterly basis
- Partner Relationships: Foster strong relationships with co-brand partners, understanding their objectives and aligning marketing initiatives to meet mutual goals
- Team Leadership:
- Build and lead a high-performing marketing team focused on co-branded partnerships
- Establish and implement standardized playbooks and efficient processes within the marketing team to drive operational excellence, streamline workflows, and enhance overall productivity, ensuring consistency and effectiveness in campaign execution for co-branded credit card programs
- Performance Analysis and Optimization:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Implement data-driven optimizations to enhance acquisition, spending, and overall program growth
We Are Looking For Folks With
- Strong Consumer Marketing Experience: 8 -10 years of experience leading marketing efforts, with proven experience in marketing leadership roles, preferably with a focus in credit card or co brand marketing
- Experience with incentive based sign-up offers, direct response channels, engagement and product marketing
- Analytical and data-driven: Ability to design and inform analyses, interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and executing successful A/B tests, including test setup, data analysis, and implementation of findings
- Self-starter: Will run through walls to achieve goals. Resourceful and pragmatic forward thinker with independence of thought and sense of ownership. Can operate in ambiguity
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset
- Holds a high bar: Can manage multiple projects and changing priorities, while maintaining an incredibly high bar for both inputs and outputs to produce excellent and accurate work
- Collaborative and relationship oriented: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and effectively collaborate with and influence diverse internal and external stakeholders
