Working Student/Intern Environmental Data Scientist

 

Key Responsibilities/what you do:

 

• Support Data Initiatives: Work closely with the Head of Sustainability to enhance our environmental data analytics and quality.
• Data Analysis: Analyze existing data and collaborate with the sustainability team to identify areas for improvement.
• Solution Design: Develop innovative, data-driven solutions focused on data quality and user-friendliness.
• Prototyping & Validation: Create and validate prototypes, presenting results to stakeholders.
• Interdisciplinary Projects: Participate in various internal projects, working with international colleagues and departments across Allianz Group.
• Collaboration: Engage with colleagues from different entities and functions on an ad-hoc basis to support our sustainability goals.

 

Key Requirements/what you bring:

 

• Educational Background: Master’s student in mathematics, data science, statistics, or a related field with a focus on data sciences.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Python, SQL, and Microsoft 365; additional programming languages and BI tool knowledge are advantageous.
• Data Analysis Expertise: Strong background in data analysis and developing user-friendly dashboards.
• Environmental Experience: Prior experience with environmental topics is highly appreciated.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in verbal and written English.
