The Team:
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is the first cloud built specifically for the enterprise. The team develops a suite of cloud infrastructure products that includes Compute products like Bare-Metal compute, Virtual Machines, Kubernetes Services, and Serverless Computing; Storage products like Block Store, Object Store and File Systems; Networking products like SDN, Load Balancers, and DNS; Security products like Key management and Identity systems; and Platform products like Notifications, Monitoring, and Streaming. What You’ll Do:
Work at the core of every product or solution we build
- Build large-scale distributed infrastructure for the cloud
- Write code and design efficient data structures and algorithms to develop next-generation applications and tools
- Develop, fix and debug software programs for web services, databases, applications, tools, networks
What You’ll Bring: (Objective Minimum Qualifications)
To be considered for a Software Engineer position in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure organization, you must possess the Objective Minimum Qualifications (OMQs) below. Please ensure that your application clearly indicates that you meet these OMQs, by listing relevant academic/professional/personal projects on your resume.
- Have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent science/engineering field by August 2025.
- Reside in the United States and/or attend a university in the US.
- Able to obtain work authorization in the US in 2025.
- Are proficient (e.g., can complete coding projects without any assistance) in two or more of the following computer languages:
- C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, SQL, NoSQL, PL/SQL, Go, or similar object oriented or functional programming languages
- Have academic coursework, completed projects, prior internship and/or research experience or equivalent in at least three of the following areas:
- Algorithms and Data Structures
- Artificial Intelligence
- Assembly Language Programming

- Cloud Computing
- Compilers
- Computer Architecture

- Linux Operating Systems
- Web Services
- Compute Platforms (such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Storm, Ganglia, Nagios, openTSDB, Elasticsearch or others)
- Scrum & Agile Methodologies
- Software Quality Assurance (such as functional testing, performance testing, regression testing, debugging, or others)
Other Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 3.0 GPA or Higher
- Experience with embedded firmware/software multiprocessor/multithreaded development in C
- Linux device drivers development
- Experience in writing automated tests (Java, Python, or equivalent)
- Low level hardware interfacing, i2c, SPI, eMMC, PMBUS/SMBUS
- DMTF protocols MCTP/PLDM/SPDM/Redfish
- System Management Stacks (OpenBMC)
- Understand changes in technology and hardware and create effective testcase
