What You’ll Do
The Internal Developer Platforms Team‘s mission is to accelerate engineering velocity across the company by delivering world-class internal tooling, environments, and AI-enhanced workflows. This team focuses on developing and supporting robust, scalable environments for developers, including local, testing, and ephemeral setups. Members of this team will drive adoption of AI-driven tools designed to minimize obstacles and maximize developer productivity and innovation.
As an engineering manager, you will be leading the team that develops platforms used to accelerate development workflows, power scalable environments, and integrate AI-enhanced tooling across the engineering organization.
In this role, you will
- Lead 7-8 highly skilled software engineers and invest in enabling a high performance culture
- Evangelize the needs of our internal customers ( CoreWeave’s engineering teams) to create platforms that will enable us to scale the development workflows
- Champion AI-augmented development workflows and integrating tools that leverage machine learning and large language models (LLMs) to improve code quality, development speed, and operational insight.
- Drive the technical roadmap and strategy for internal developer platforms
- Facilitate technical discussions, architecture reviews, and design decisions
- Own the delivery, quality, and operational health of the platforms and operationalize AI tools for engineering
- Create clarity around team goals, deliverables, and career development paths for

Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience managing engineering teams, ideally within platform, DevEx, or infrastructure domains
- 6+ years of engineering experience with strong systems design, backend, or platform architecture background
- Proven success leading teams that build developer platforms and delivering high impact initiatives
- Solid understanding of cloud-native infrastructure (e.g., Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, observability tools)
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts and enthusiasm for applying AI to improve engineering workflows
- Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating or enabling tools that leverage LLMs or code intelligence for developers (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cody, custom LLM integrations)
