What You’ll Do
As the Lead Energy Manager, you'll guide the development and execution of a comprehensive energy strategy that reduces consumption, cost, and environmental impact for a high-profile project. You’ll collaborate across departments and with external partners to drive meaningful energy efficiency improvements, oversee audits, and ensure compliance with energy regulations.
Your leadership will influence how we measure and manage energy—from baseline data to long-term conservation planning.
Responsibilities:

Design and implement energy strategies, policies, and programs across project operations

Analyze usage data to spot trends, reduce inefficiencies, and uncover savings opportunities

Build ROI-based business cases for conservation projects and lead implementation efforts

Manage energy audits, retro-commissioning, and continuous improvement initiatives

Lead vendor collaboration and oversee execution of energy conservation measures (ECMs)

Monitor performance metrics and report progress toward energy goals and KPIs

Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal energy regulations

Foster strong relationships with utilities, consultants, and service partners

Lead and mentor a team of energy analysts or coordinators

Travel to project sites as needed to support implementation and oversight
What You Bring
-
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred)

Minimum 7 years in energy management, sustainability, or engineering roles

Professional certifications such as CEM, PE, or LEED AP strongly preferred

Proficiency with energy modeling, forecasting, M&V protocols, and BAS/EMS technologies

Familiarity with ISO 50001, ASHRAE standards, and building energy codes

Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
-
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites
