Power Generation Field Service Technician

We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in Manassas, VA.

You will make an impact in the following ways:

• Complete repairs on PG products in the field
• Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
• Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
• Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
• Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
• Maintain own tools

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

Experience: 

• Minimal level of field service related experience
• Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products 
• High Voltage/Low Voltage practical experience an asset

What you will be doing on a daily basis :

• PM services on generators (data centers generators and some residential).
• Help level 3 techs with more technical jobs and minor repairs.
• Afterhours and weekend work will be needed

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

• Apprentice Certified Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred)
• Current relevant electrical certification
• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

A current valid license is required for this role
Be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience
This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
