JOB SUMMARY
ClearBridge Investments is seeking a Client Service Associate with 2 to 4 years of relationship management, client service or marketing experience within an asset management/financial markets environment. Candidate would be part of the Client Service Team and must have excellent oral/written communication skills to handle manifold responsibilities as outlined below:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Maintain and enhance relationships with institutional clients.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of the firm’s products and services.
- Produce account reports and presentations per client requirements.
- Work closely with various divisions within the organization to assure proper packaging and distribution of client reports. Such divisions include legal/compliance, portfolio analytics, operations and marketing.
- Promote client retention and sales through the facilitation of client meetings and discussions covering investment strategy, account performance, new products, and firm updates.
- Work closely with the business, the sales teams and ClearBridge portfolio managers to coordinate all support activities and cross selling efforts.
- Assist Senior Client Service Manager.
- Cover the firm’s small to mid-sized institutional accounts. Candidate will have a thorough understanding of the assigned accounts’ requirements.
- Lead and coordinate account transitions and new account launches with Senior Client Service Manager and Head of Client Service.
- Potential for light travel to client meeting and events
QUALIFICATONS
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2-4 years of experience working within the investment industry (preferably Asset Management) in a relationship management, client service or marketing capacity
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of Factset and Salesforce a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong qualitative and quantitative skills
- Ability to work independently but must also be a team player
- Strong project management skills – must be extremely organized and detail orientedAbility to work well under pressure and multitask
- Exceptional work ethic, resourceful, and personable

- The salary range for this position is targeted for $85,000 to $110,000 plus discretionary bonus. Base pay offered
