SkillBridge Cyber Security & Compliance Intern

Procurement Sciences, Inc is seeking a SkillBridge Cyber Security & Compliance Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cyber security and compliance within the procurement industry. Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting cybersecurity risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Support the development and implementation of cyber security controls and measures to protect company data and infrastructure.
• Assist in monitoring and analyzing security logs and alerts to identify and respond to potential security incidents.
• Participate in the development and delivery of cyber security training and awareness programs.
• Assist in maintaining and updating cyber security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of security tools and technologies.
• Contribute to the preparation of cyber security reports and documentation.
• Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in cyber security and compliance.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Cyber Security, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong interest in cyber security, compliance, and risk management.
• Basic understanding of cyber security principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Familiarity with common cyber security tools and technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and protocols.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work well both independently and within a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are a plus.
