For our German site in Wesseling near Cologne we are looking for a

 

Production Engineer Cracker (m/f/d)

 

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• monitor, troubleshoot and optimize operatinge units to drive process and product improvements
• detect causes of deviations in quality, capacity, yield and energy consumption
• identify, recommend and implement strategic projects to improve unit performance
• collaborate with unit specialists and implementation of capital projects
• drive the optimization of plant performance in a safe manner to meet Company targets for production, quality, yield, energy consumption and new product development

 

Qualifications

• Master in Chemical Engineering, related engineering field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a petrochemical manufacturing environment
• Technical background in Olefin production and general understanding of petrochemical processes
• Languages: fluent in German, working proficiency in English
• Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
• Leadership skills to drive technical solutions and mentor technicians and operators.
• Ability to handle multiple time-critical challenges simultaneously
