Your New Role...
 

The Director of Americas Technical Security is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing technical  (electronic) security solutions for WBD’s Canada, Latin America, and United States locations. This position and their

team will focus on electronic security systems operations and infrastructure while collaborating with regional security leadership, WBD Technology, the International Technical Security Director, and other key business partners to

advance the security mission.

Your Role Responsibilities...
 

• Oversee, evaluate, and manage Americas technical security projects for WBD properties to include the design, vendor selection, development, installation and management of all technical (electronic) security systems. Assess the capability to update, improve, and further enhance the security measures, equipment, and monitoring for WBD properties in a cost-effective manner.
• Conduct technical and physical security assessments of offices to ensure compliance with security policies, regulations, and technical standards; includes summarizing findings and developing recommendations.
• Collaborate with security and WBD Real Estate team members, WBD architects, WBD Technology, outsourced consultants, property management and integrators for maintenance, design, installation of security systems and new office buildouts. Act as the liaison with WBD Technology to report and troubleshoot network access issues related to electronic security systems. Partners with the InfoSec team to identify and mitigate system vulnerabilities, ensure compliance, and minimize the risk of a cybersecurity incident through the access control and CCTV systems domestically. Manage and direct security integrators and vendors for electronic security system installs and upgrades, authorize service calls and repairs of electronic security systems which may include access control systems, CCTV systems, panic and intrusion alarms, etc. for WBD Americas properties.
• Oversee the Americas access control team responsible for the production, programming, auditing, and distribution of all Americas WBD ID Access Control Cards while ensuring policies and procedures are being adhered in collaboration with the international technical security team. Manage a team of regional security managers overseeing the day-to-day technical security operations. ·
• Monitor and collaborate with internal departments and Global Security regarding security measures, policies, programs, and/or procedures to ensure compliance with security policies, licensing requirements, or applicable corporate security requirements, and directives. Partners with security leadership to establish procedures regarding security call centers, operations centers, domains, asset classification systems, electronic security system acquisition, electronic security system development, electronic security system maintenance, program models, and reporting tools. Supports GSII with the technical aspect of internal and external investigations.
• Participate in special projects, work extended hours, and perform other duties as assigned or required. Travel to support business needs.
