Why This Role Is Right for You
As a Data & Performance Management Senior Specialist, you’ll join a collaborative and forward-thinking team based in Milan. Together, we support the implementation and improvement of operational cost processes across regional Operations teams. We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of cost monitoring processes, who can collaborate closely with both the Operations and Finance teams to ensure that financial goals align with operational objective
About Your Future Role
In this position, you will:
- Ensure the accurate and monthly reporting of OPs financial performance, in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Monitor business performance, comparing actual results with budgets and forecasts
- Analyze volumes and unitary costs, identify variances, and propose corrective actions
- Support the definition and tracking of KPIs and other performance metrics
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to senior management, supporting strategic decision-making
- Process large datasets, creating forecasting models and dashboards for reporting utilizing tools like Excel or PowerBI and other data analysis software

Essential Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience with monthly closing, budgeting, and forecasting processes, preferably in structured corporate environments
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages for data analysis such as Excel, SQL, Power BI or other business intelligence software. Experience with financial modeling and forecasting techniques
- Ability to analyze volumes, unit costs, and KPIs to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Strong team collaboration skills and ability to interact effectively with multiple business functions
- Proficiency in English (intermediate to advanced level)
Bonus Skills:
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence techniques applied to data analysis
- Previous experience in Operations departments
- Knowledge of SAP ERP
