Your Mission
The Ecommerce Relationship Manager retains, manages, and expands major merchant relationships. This person manages a portfolio of merchant accounts by increasing revenue through cross-selling company products and services and maintains strong relationships with key decision-makers within assigned accounts and the industry to ensure retention of all accounts.
Requirements
· Act as day-to-day contact with merchants for all operation, service, and business matters.
· Work with current merchants within the assigned portfolio by answering questions regarding the services and making sure that all issues, inquiries, and needs are properly completed by the appropriate agents.
· Identify improvements to existing products/services that a merchant might have and seek opportunities for new products/services; sell value-added products or services to existing accounts.
· Act as the key relationship manager and main contact for eligible customers, building and managing relationship management portfolio (acquiring merchant referrals, reviewing eligible merchants, etc.).
· Maintain ongoing contact with clients to ensure overall satisfaction; exceed customer expectations in terms of speed, efficiency, certainty, and professionalism, either face to face or through an alternate channel.
· Review and re-price existing accounts; when requested by the merchants.
· Work with internal departments to ensure a high level of support for the client.
· Lead on special projects related to customer portfolio.
· Produce reporting for management regarding the accounts from the assigned portfolio.
· Provide feedback to the business on possible improvements to current products and services.
· Any other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- University / College degree or combination of education and equivalent and related work experience would be preferred.
- 1-2 years’ experience within account management, sales or Loyalty/Retention is desired.
- 1-2 years’ experience in the payment processing industry would be preferred.
- Basic knowledge of eCommerce, payment gateways, and online payment methods in the payment processing industry is preferred.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, Excel, CRM database).
- Very good time-management and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Well-developed business development and relationship management skills.
