The Accounts Payable Representative is responsible for supporting the accounting function by processing invoices, maintaining vendor records, managing purchasing systems, and ensuring timely and accurate payments while adhering to internal controls and compliance standards. This role involves daily tasks such as invoice entry, check preparation, report generation, and supply inventory management, as well as coordination with other departments and adherence to regulatory requirements. The specialist also plays a key role in upholding the organization’s core values and delivering a positive experience to both internal and external stakeholders.
