About This Opportunity

Joining our Athletics team, the Assistant Head Coach will be responsible for the following:

• Assist head coach with recruiting.
• Assist in conducting tours during on campus visits and evaluation off campus.
• Be prepared to assist the Head Coach with assigned responsibilities for game coaching.
• Be prepared to assist with practices and training sessions with assigned duties.
• Assist in the development of each student athlete spiritually, academically, physically and socially
• Observe all Daemen College, ECC Conference, and NCAA policies and requirements.
• Assist Head Coach with on court practices.
• Keep all boards up to date.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism on and off of the court toward student athletes, other coaches, parents, administrators, and members of the community. Follow all team rules and regulations.
• Assist with basketball camps including specific responsibilities such as teaching and instruction at stations and/or lectures.
• Assist in development and preparation of scouting reports and breakdown game film.
• Assist head coach with all fundraising efforts, and lead projects as assigned
• Assist with administrative functions of the Women's Basketball program as directed by the Head Coach.
• Assist Operations with Women's Lacrosse and all other assigned duties.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Previous experience as a basketball athlete at the collegiate level
• Commitment and Ability to maintain the highest ethical standards
• Knowledge of NCAA and ECC rules and regulations
