Sales employees will concentrate on acquiring new business and conducting customer visits in the field. When not in the field, they are expected to collaborate with their team from their assigned office location, if available.

This position is part of a specialized Sales Support team responsible for supporting Revenue Management Tool (RMT) account management and forecasting process.  This role involves collaboration with account teams on new and renewal business opportunities and forecasting billed revenue outcome. SAART Results are analyzed on a monthly basis and variance explains required for sequential and performance to Quota.  Active monitoring of invoiced revenue via Dept. of Defense payment portals vs. AT&T journals process may be required. Federal is also leading the way in SLIC forecasting delivering Best Case, Most Likely and Worst-Case forecasting.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Account Teams on an assigned sub-set of Department of Defense agencies.
  • Analyze billed revenue results and forecast revenue for current Budget period.
  • Manage RMT levers and SLIC entries and deliver on a monthly forecast.
  • Analyze results and explain variations in trends and identify risk & opportunities in achieving Quota aligned to business plan.
  • Support Account Team is review of customer charges vs AT&T billed invoices; work with Controllers, Finance, Billing Ops and Contracting to resolve discrepancies accordingly.
  • Monitor Account Receivable and support Account Team in resolving disputes and collection Cash
  • Participate in opportunity reviews to understand timing and value of potential awards; develop insights to incorporate into forecast.
  • Support team in volumes forecasting of strategic product (e.g., Wireline and Fixed Wireless Connectivity) and incorporating into new Battlecard process; explain variations.
  • Be a team player and contribute to monthly VP and Officer results reviews.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field or work equivalent.
  • 3-5 years results and or sales support experience.
  • Strong understanding of SAART and Lever and Revenue Forecasting concepts.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint to support monthly reviews.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with sales and support teams, and partner organizations including Controllers, Finance and Billing Ops.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong financial background in Revenue forecasting and consolidation critical. 

Our Principal Financial Analysis (Government) earns between $130,700 - $196,100 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
