Gas Station Attendant Full Service

Gibbs Oil is seeking a Full-Service Gas Station Attendant at our Manchester by the Sea, MA location.

As a Gas Station Attendant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include fueling vehicles, performing minor vehicle maintenance checks, assisting customers with questions, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

Some position requirements are, but not limited to:

• Must be able to perform 90% of all duties outside in all types of weather.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Prior experience in retail or customer service is a plus.

• Ensuring that every customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging customers.
• Fueling customer vehicles.
• Maintaining cleanliness of work areas, including fueling stations and convenience store areas.
• Handling cash and processing transactions accurately at the point of sale.
• Monitoring fuel dispensing pumps and ensuring proper operation and safety measures are followed.
• Following safety and operational procedures while handling fuel and working around hazardous materials.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
