Senior Manager, Business Development
Cube SoftwareAbout the role
We're on a mission to help every company hit their numbers.
The world has evolved, but business planning has not. Most Finance teams still manage their planning and analysis in spreadsheets, yet the ones who replace them end up going back over 80% of the time. Cube is the first spreadsheet-native FP&A platform to deliver faster planning and performance without changing how teams work. Cube’s powerful engine connects into existing spreadsheets and source systems, delivering all of the benefits of enterprise-level FP&A with none of the headaches.
To date, Cube has raised over $45M of venture capital from top tier investors such as Battery Ventures and Mayfield. Together, we’re building a culture that challenges and celebrates everyone with a path to grow. That’s where you come in! We’re happily headquartered in New York City, but are foremost a remote-first company. This means we communicate, collaborate, and connect virtually across different time zones. As we enter our next phase of growth, we believe Cubers are the reason we win.
DEVELOP AND CHAMPION OUR OUTBOUND TEAM, STRATEGY, AND FUNNEL
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Cube helps every company hit their numbers. As the Senior Manager of Business Development, you will develop and champion our outbound team, strategy, and funnel to help us better connect with FP&A leaders who want to hit their numbers. This hybrid role is based in NYC and requires you to work from our headquarters, Tuesday-Thursday.
Are you passionate about outbound sales and building a culture of top performers? Does the idea of running team-wide call blitzes, A/B testing pitches, and developing BDRs into AEs excite you? If so, hey there, we want to hear from you!

Develop a team of top performers. You will be responsible for hiring and training a team of highly motivated BDRs to build a qualified pipeline of potential customers. This includes managing day-to-day operations, analytics, and strategy.
Serve as “air-traffic control” on… You will focus on understanding and articulating the business needs of our customers.

You’ll have a wonderful cast of players to support you here at Cube:
Jackie Duggan, VP of Marketing, your partner in marketing with lots of bonus experience in outbound and CRO (she deserves to be mentioned twice!)
Our Sales & Marketing Operations Manager will be your data and operational buddy
Our current Business Development Team Lead has been with the company for over three years and has a wealth of product and institutional knowledge to support your own ramp
Last but not least, our energetic team of 11 outbound BDRs, 27% of whom have already received a promotion in the last six months.

Understand Cube’s software, our ideal customers, their buying behavior, and their top pains.
Conduct a thorough audit of Outreach, our standard prospecting process, and propose potential areas for improvement, address issues discovered, and work with the RevOps team to fix them.
