Job Summary
As the Field Quality Manager at Black Rifle Coffee Company, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive Food Safety and Quality program across all corporate and franchise locations. This role requires a visionary leader who can create and maintain standards that ensure the safety, quality, and consistency of our products, aligning with our core values. The Field Quality Manager will work closely with corporate, franchise, and field teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Black Rifle Coffee's high standards. This position may require up to 75% travel to our corporate & franchise Outposts.Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Program Development:
- Build a robust FSQ program from scratch, including policies, procedures, and training modules.
- Develop and implement company-wide food safety standards, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Create a quality assurance framework that guarantees product consistency and excellence across all locations.
Field Support:
Provide on-site support to corporate and franchise locations to ensure adherence to FSQ standards.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of all locations to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with franchisees to tailor FSQ practices to local market needs while maintaining overall company standards.
Training & Development:
Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for corporate and franchise teams on FSQ policies and procedures.
Foster a culture of food safety and quality through continuous education and awareness initiatives.
Compliance & Reporting:
Monitor and ensure compliance with all food safety regulations, including HACCP, FDA, and other relevant standards.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all FSQ activities, audits, and inspections.
Report on FSQ metrics, trends, and improvements to senior management.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in food safety and quality.
Lead initiatives to continuously improve FSQ processes, ensuring the highest standards are met.
Education and Skill Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or related scientific discipline preferred.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in food safety and quality management, preferably in a multi-location environment.
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and standards (e.g., HACCP, FDA).
Quality management experience in retail food establishments required.
