Janitorial and Maintenance

Description

HOA community in the Clermont area is seeking an experienced maintenance employee. The position offers flexible nights and weekends (Monday thru Saturday from 2:30pom to 11:00pm and Sundays from 10:00am to 7:00pm). The position is full time with excellent benefits.

Janitorial and Maintenance Duties

Provide general maintenance and janitorial services such as:

1. Cleaning of the inside of all buildings, including vacuuming, mopping, etc. as needed

2. Cleaning of the outside of all buildings and grounds, including painting of the buildings, cleaning out building gutters, sweeping and blowing pool decks and sports courts, cleaning sports court benches, spraying insecticide and weeds, etc.

3. Performing any needed repairs on all furniture both inside and outside and ensure steam cleaning or pressure washing is done as needed on a regular basis.

4. Effectively perform regular back wash maintenance procedures are completed on the steam room generators 

5. Prepare room setups for various type of meetings and large events to coincide with the event management system

6. Ensure all supplies are filled throughout the day including hand soap, gym towels and other paper products. 

7. Check all barbecue grills daily for cleanliness and check propane tanks for safety and to insure they are filled

8. Check exterior lights to ensure everything is working and replace as necessary 

9. Check all pool equipment and heaters to ensure the pumps and heaters are running

10. Pick up trash throughout the community if seen

11. Report any noticeable damage to landscaping and irrigation throughout the common areas

Requirements

 Maintain a current Florida Driver’s License. 

Ability to lift items that may weigh up to 50 pounds.
