Boeing Commercial Airplanes is looking for DevSecOps Engineers to join our Flight Sciences Technology Integration team in Everett, WA. Join a team on the cutting edge of technology, building the architecture, tools, and methods that will define the future digital processes at The Boeing Company.
In this role you will be on the front lines to lead the design, planning and creation of software solutions for Flight Sciences. You will partner with our IT and Flight Engineering teams to build the architecture for development, security, and deployment of Flight Sciences analysis tools and capabilities. Position Responsibilities:
Design, implement and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment solutions for Flight Sciences analysis software
Develop system requirements with engineering stakeholders for software application development and deployment
Design, develop, test, document and support software systems and product solutions for engineering teams
Train and support engineering development teams on capability development, test and deployment standards
Collaborate with our Digital Thread and DevOps team to manage and deploy capabilities to the engineering workforce
Work directly with engineering developers to migrate existing capabilities into defined DevSecOps standards
Defines and validates requirements for new and revised engineering computing hardware
Researches, develops, analyzes, designs and tests software systems
Develops and deploys new or revised processes in support of new computing systems
Develops system integration strategies and architectures that promote use of common tools and processes
Facilitates integration of new technologies and the transition from legacy systems to support business
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
Experience with Operating systems such as RedHat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Enterprise Linux or SUSE Linux
2 or more years of experience designing and developing software using Python, C/C++, C# and/or Java
2 or more years of experience with CI/CD environments and tools such as Jenkins or Gitlab
Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, (PHP, Apache, SQL Server, MySQL) or similar
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
3 or more years of experience in a role that requires leadership, collaboration, and communication skills working across multi-disciplinary teams
3 or more years of experience working in a position that requires innovative thinking and problem solving, team partnership mentality
5 or more years of experience programming in Python, Java, and/or C++
5 or more years of experience working with public cloud provider services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
