About the Role

MWH is currently seeking a Manager, Total Rewards, to join our Human Resources Team located in Broomfield, Colorado. In this role you will play a key part in managing and optimizing the company’s benefits and compensation strategies. This role ensures that total rewards strategies are competitive, equitable, cost-effective, and aligned with business goals. The manager partners closely with HR, Finance, and senior leadership to attract, retain, and motivate top talent through data-driven reward solutions.

Essential Functions

Benefits Administration

  • Provide support for employee benefits programs, including enrollment, updates for multiple programs including 401k, health, wellness, STD/LTD, life insurances.
  • Evaluate benefit offerings for competitiveness, cost, and employee experience; recommend enhancements or vendor changes as needed.
  • Manage relationships with brokers, carriers, and third-party administrators.
  • Lead open enrollment planning, communication, and execution.
  • Monitor regulatory changes, market trends, and best practices in total rewards.
  • Ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS, DOL, and other regulatory requirements, including nondiscrimination testing, Form 5500 filings, plan amendments, and required notices.
  • Employee Support: Address employee inquiries related to benefits and compensation programs, escalating complex cases as needed. Participate in organizing and presenting open enrollment and wellness activities. Manage leave of absence programs.
  • Data Management: Ensure HRIS, logs, and other systems are updated with accurate benefits and compensation data. Assist with reporting and collection of data along with reconciliation of data from vendor systems. Participate in any associated audits or regulatory activities.
  • At a future date, may supervise analysts or specialists within the Total Rewards function.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on HR technology, payroll, and compliance initiatives.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert and trusted advisor to leadership.
