A Day in the Life
The Senior Manager, Operations Program Management, will lead a team of ~8-12 program managers within the Neuromodulation and Pelvic Health Operating Units. In this dynamic and fast-paced role, you will be responsible for providing leadership for a portfolio of post-market projects that may include product design and manufacturing changes, geographic expansion of products, MDR compliance/recertification, and manufacturing site transfers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project/program management, operations management, product development, and team leadership.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Lead and develop a team of approximately 8-12 program managers, providing strong guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
- Drive continuous improvement through creating and refining operating mechanisms, KPI’s, program management tools, and best practices.
- Ensure strong planning and execution of post-market programs, including alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Drive the implementation of design changes to released products, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
- Develop, maintain, and provide oversight to project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and others, to ensure successful portfolio execution.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with program execution, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving operational excellence and efficiency within the team.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Requires a Baccalaureate degree
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience.

- Experience with and passion for directly managing and developing high-performing teams
- MBA or Engineering Master’s Degree
- Six Sigma Black Belt or Equivalent
- PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Enthusiasm towards process improvements and change management
- Demonstrated track record in successfully leading projects to completion on time and within budget
- Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills with all levels of the organization.
- Influence management skills. Ability to influence business senior leaders, functional leaders, peers, and individual contributors
- Experience supporting cross-functional and cross-regional teams in a matrixed organization, developing collaborative relationships
- Demonstrated strong business and financial acumen
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, particularly in risk-based decision making
- Identifies, manages, resolves, and escalates issues in a proactive, creative, and timely fashion
