We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our Data Team. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

The Data Analyst supports the Data Team by interpreting client requirements, onboarding new clients to the bswift platform, and maintaining data integrity for existing clients. This role ensures adherence to the Data Team’s best practices while using bswift’s Import 2.0 tool and Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (MSSMS). You will contribute to high-quality data conversions, troubleshoot data issues, and collaborate with technical and client-facing teams across the organization. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR (Essential Functions)

Data Testing, Imports & Conversions 

• Partner with Data Managers and Data Project Managers to test client import files and validate data quality. 

• Identify, communicate, and help resolve data or file quality issues throughout testing cycles. 

• Execute test and production conversion plans developed by Data Project Managers. 

• Import client data into the bswift platform using MSSMS and Import 2.0, reporting any discrepancies to Implementation and Client Service teams. 

Querying & Reporting 

• Run SQL queries upon request and report findings to appropriate stakeholders. 

• Execute data queries to support clients, internal teams, and project needs. 

• Analyze and interpret large datasets, summarizing insights for both technical and non-technical audiences. 

Ongoing File Support & Troubleshooting 

• Collaborate with Data Managers and Data Project Managers to troubleshoot ongoing file issues until resolution and signoff. 

• Support ad hoc client data projects as assigned. 

• Assist with product enhancements that require data updates or validation. 

Technical Support & Cross-Functional Collaboration 

• Assist with sFTP account setup and issue resolution. 

• Work closely with Product Management, Systems Engineering, and Database Administrators to support data-related initiatives and technical troubleshooting. 

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Required Education and Experience) 

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent relevant work experience 

• Proficiency in Excel (required); familiarity with SQL is a plus 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
