Responsibilities
Provides telephone system, contact center, and carrier expertise in support of organization initiatives. Represents Telecommunications interests during facility acquisition and expansion projects as well as phone system upgrades or new implementations. Evaluates user needs and technical factors to architect and design telecommunications solutions. Tracks major telecom projects through comprehensive work planning and status reporting.
Qualifications
B.S. degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or other related field (or equivalent job experience)
Four (4) years experience in IT/Telecom environment utilizing a digital and/or IP voice technology solutions and various carrier voice circuit technologies
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of digital and IP phone systems, contact center solutions, and carrier circuits and phone lines. Solid knowledge of IP networking.
Must possess excellent analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills; excellent Microsoft Excel skills
Must be competent writing policies, procedures, and other communications
Demonstrate strong history of project management and technical assessment skills
Must be an outstanding team player and possess excellent collaboration skills
Preferred:
Six (6) or more years’ experience in IT/Telecom environment utilizing a digital and/or IP voice technology solutions and various carrier circuit technologies.
Demonstrate strong history of designing phone systems, contact center solutions, and carrier circuit technologies to meet user and business requirements
Excellent project coordination skills;
Excellent technical troubleshooting skills; excellent problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of standard IS technologies such as network protocols, network security, local and wide area networks, MS Active Directory, and wireless networks
Experience with Microsoft applications (Office, Visio, Project); experience with ServiceNow or similar solutions
Prior healthcare experience strongly preferred
