The Global Security Organization provides industry-leading cyber-security and business protection services to TikTok globally. Our organization employs four principles that guide our strategic and tactical operations. As the Principal Data Center Security Business Partner you will be responsible for building a partnership program between TikTok's Global Security Organization and the Data Systems & Infrastructure Engineering team. The goal of the partnership program is to design, document, test, and ensure physical and logical security standards for TikTok data centers globally. You will need to build extensive relationships across many teams and functions, including Physical Security, Legal Security Ops, and other Information Security teams. The ideal person is comfortable leading as a subject matter authority and tactically working on the ground, as well as strategically mapping future plans and build-outs. You will focus on “getting things done” in a fast-moving, time-sensitive environment.
What you’ll do
- Work closely with the Data Systems & Infrastructure Engineering team to build a standards and governance oversight function for physical and logical data center security controls including, but not limited to:
- Visitor management and badging technology
- Electronic key management systems
- Physical identity and access management systems
- Case and incident management systems
- Alarm monitoring and GSOC operations
- Video surveillance (AI-based technology that provides pro-active alerting experience preferred)
- Build a team (FTEs and contractors) comprised of access control, identity management, critical infrastructure, and software engineers to:
- Conduct systems assurance (IoT management, utilize cyber security best practices for IoT)
- Document and review standards for all installations
- Design and execute scalable lifecycle and asset management capability across data centers
- Research, design and test logical and physical technologies and systems
- Conduct Red Team and Pen Test oversight for PACS
- Coordinate projects, their inter-dependencies, resolve resource constraints, and resolve or mitigate risks
- Recommend and mandate areas for improvement in internal processes by remaining on the forefront of emerging industry best practices
- Develop and deliver metrics, progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
- Work with other leaders to develop program depth and resiliency
- Work with Global Procurement to conduct cost analysis exercises and oversee global RFP's for projects and technology.
