Comprehensive Pain Consultants, a PartnerCare affiliated company, is seeking a PRN Medical Laboratory Technician to join our growing and established practice in Asheville, NC.

Task and Responsibilities:
· Conducting various laboratory tests and analyses on biological specimens, such as blood, urine, and tissue samples, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
· Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments, ensuring accuracy and precision in test results.
· Following established protocols and procedures to perform tests, interpret results, and report findings to healthcare professionals.
· Maintaining accurate records of test results, quality control data, and laboratory procedures.
· Monitoring inventory levels of reagents, supplies, and equipment, and replenishing as needed to ensure
· uninterrupted laboratory operations.
· Adhering to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and
· others in the laboratory.
· Collaborating with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to provide timely and
· accurate laboratory results to aid in patient care.
· Participating in continuing education and professional development activities to stay updated on
· advancements in laboratory technology and methodologies.
· Contributing to quality improvement initiatives within the laboratory to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and patient care outcomes.
· Assisting in research projects and clinical trials by performing laboratory tests and analyses as required.
Schedule:
Per Diem, Day Shifts
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
No weekends required
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Prior experience with immunoassay or diagnostic testing preferred
- Familiarity with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) is a plus
- Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Successful completion of Medical Laboratory Technician certification
