Job Description

The role of the Senior Financial Analyst II – Global Customer Solutions is to provide financial insight, support and guidance to the Global Business owners of the Global Systems Integration (SI) and Global Digital Business (DB) Business Units. The position will support these business owners along with the Global Digital Unit, in partnership with the Finance Director of R&D Portfolio Management.

He/she will be responsible for developing meaningful financial and operational metrics that will help drive decision-making. He/she will partner with members of the Business Unit and Functional leadership teams with responsibility for strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, & reporting, coordinating closely in support of Division Finance. 

The Senior Financial Analyst II is expected to have a hands-on approach in all aspects of the job and demonstrate the highest caliber of professional and personal integrity and ethical decision-making.

Job Duties

  • Direct the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes and target in conjunction with Division Finance for the Global Customer Solutions Business unit at the SI / DB BU level, by each Region’s Business Center (BC).
  • Partner with Regional Finance to communicate and educate annual financial targets in order ensure roll-up to global P&L is aligned.
  • Partner with Regional Finance, leveraging results from Strategic Business Planning process to build Long Range Plan for the Direct the Global Customer Solutions Business unit at the SI / DB BU level, by each Region’s Business Center (BC).
  • Provide monthly commentary and insights to Division Finance for Excom on the CS BU performance to Annual Budget
  • Provides stakeholder analysis and reports at the global, group, division, business unit and entity levels.
  • Coordinate with Regional Portfolio Finance to provide Global Digital Unit monthly insights on overall financial performance of projects.
  • Support the Global Head of Customer Solutions with analysis, insights and tracking of financials and key performance metrics on a monthly basis.
  • Partner with CS BU leadership to develop and support the financial models on strategic business improvements which include, but not limited to projects enabled that enhance the profitability of the SI BU and drive the growth and business infrastructure development of a Digital Business.
  • Partner with the Finance Director of R&D Portfolio Management to ensure financial alignment with Strategic Business Planning (SBP) process, Division and Function Strategies.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting required.
  • Advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 6+ years applicable business experience including working for a global company and supporting a full business P&L.
  • Must possess sound financial competence and business acumen. 

Preferred:

  • Demonstrated ability to foster an environment of proactive problem solving, transparency and process efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to persuasively deliver presentations to all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions and with all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word MS project 
  • Strong preference given to a candidate with multi-function experience.
  • Demonstrated strengths in critical thinking and innovative problem-solving skills; financial and strategic.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and evolving work environment.
  • Ability to develop, review and negotiate business agreements.
  • Experience with people leadership skills a plus.
