Job Title: Weekend Warehouse Specialist 

Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM (10 HOUR SHIFTS FOR A 40 HOUR WEEK) 

Position Type: Full-Time, Weekend 

Job Description: 

We are seeking a Weekend Warehouse Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis, working Friday through Monday with a 10 hour per day shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The Weekend Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for various tasks within our warehouse facility, primarily focusing on operating a forklift, ensuring efficient handling of materials and products. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials and products within the warehouse. 

Conduct routine inspections of the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition and report any maintenance or operational issues to the appropriate personnel. 

Assist with the receiving, storing, and organizing of incoming materials and products. 

Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and staging items according to company procedures. 

Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse, including sweeping, cleaning spills, and removing debris. 

Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. 

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively. 

Perform other duties as assigned by management to support warehouse operations. 

Qualifications: 

Previous experience operating a cherry picker and/or reach forklift in a warehouse or similar environment is required. 

Valid forklift operator certification/license. 

Ability to lift and move heavy objects, sometimes up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods. 

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. 

Willingness to work weekends and adhere to the specified schedule. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Experience using SAP warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory management software. 

Knowledge of basic warehouse procedures, such as receiving, picking, and packing. 

Flexibility to work additional hours or shifts as needed. 

Note: This position requires working on weekends (Friday to Monday) and operating a forklift. Candidates must be comfortable with the specified schedule and possess the necessary forklift experience to perform the job duties effectively.
