About the role

The School of Nursing and Health Sciences at Vermont State University, Department of Nursing, invites applications for a Part-Time teaching position on our Castleton campus for Spring 2025 (January 21 - May 16, 2025).

The course to be taught is NUR 4515-S01 - Transitions to Pro NUR Practice - Castleton Campus

4 Credits

Through self-reflection, commitment to professional growth, and lifelong learning, this course provides pre-licensure BSN student-learners with an opportunity to prepare for the transition from student to professional registered nurse. Trends and issues in politics, economics, education, science and technology and their influence on healthcare, the nursing profession, nursing practice, and the achievement of quality patient outcomes will be discussed.

Minimum Qualifications: 
Qualified candidates must possess a Master's degree in Nursing or related field. Teaching experience in secondary school or college is a plus. An active unencumbered Vermont RN licensure or eligibility for an unencumbered Vermont license required. A valid driver's license is required. 

Salary: 
Based on credits previously taught per VSC-VSCPTF Bargaining Unit Agreement.
